About This Image

Colorado City, CO, is now called Colorado Springs.

A lovely view of the Monument River with trees, a small bridge and the Rocky Mountains in the back.

Born in Scotland, Alexander Martin (1841-1929) was active in Boulder, Georgetown and Denver, CO, from 1874 to 1901. He created cabinet cards and other smaller views, as well as mammoth plate views, probably working with William Henry Jackson's camera.

Shipping and insurance costs will be added to the price and must be paid for by the buyer. Pennsylvania buyers must pay appropriate local sales tax. International clients are responsible for their VAT and other custom's oriented charges.
