A lovely view of the Monument River with trees, a small bridge and the Rocky Mountains in the back.
Born in Scotland, Alexander Martin (1841-1929) was active in Boulder, Georgetown and Denver, CO, from 1874 to 1901. He created cabinet cards and other smaller views, as well as mammoth plate views, probably working with William Henry Jackson's camera.
