David Akiba has been making photographs for 38 years. His work is in the collections of the Boston Museum of Fine Art, The Fogg Art Museum, The DeCordova Museum, the Brooklyn Art Museum, and others. He received his Master of Fine Art in Photography from the Rhode Island School of Design, where he studied with Harry Callahan and Aaron Siskind. He has had a retrospective exhibition of his landscape photographs at the Rose Art Museum, and a major exhibition of his work covering almost 30 years at the Wiggin Gallery of the Boston Public Library. A solo exhibition of his family photographs entitled " A Separate Journey" was recently exhibited in New York City at the 92nd Street Y. His "Light-struck" photographs were included in an exhibition entitled, "Luminous Form, Abstraction in Color Photography" at the DeCordova Museum.

International shipping and insurance costs will be added to the price and must be paid for by the buyer. Pennsylvania buyers must pay appropriate local sales tax. International clients are responsible for their local customs duties and taxes, which will be charged by Fed Ex, which will contact the client prior to delivery.
