About This Image

Great image of royalty milling around a gun on the deck of a ship. Information on the image was originally written on the original mount (before the image was removed) in ink: "The Royal Visitors inspecting the Gun, 4th August 1889." The number 29 is reversed out of the negative. See #4754 for a companion piece.
