Signed (with Aberdeen) at lower right of the over mat. Exhibition number (170) label at lower left of the over mat. Label for the Royal Institute Galleries of London for its exhibit "Camera Portraits, including date, is on the verso of the mount. With Lentz studio stamp on entrance label.

There are water marks on the over mat and mount, but they don't affect the image itself at all.

Lentz's address was Blenheim Lane, Aberdeen, Scotland. He was apparently a talented amateur photographer, who exhibited in the Photography Salons of the time. He has a photograph in the Gray's School of Art Collection of Robert Gordon University (Aberdeen).
